Pashtunwali itself is a code, which allows Pashtun to act upon it entirely. This code of conduct allows a person to take revenge until the last drop of blood, but if the person, who has killed, seeks protection in your house, then neither you can kill nor can affect him but to provide him protection instead.
Knowing a Pashtun is easy because they are simple in their livings, hardened in their feelings and truthful in their dealings.
